Stepan Gritsun
Founder of Travel, gettravel.app
I’m Stepan, a student and developer based near Barcelona. I’m building Travel, an iOS app for the whole journey: flights, connections, tickets, getting around a new city, and keeping friends in the loop.
I’m also helping organise Barcelona Hackathon: a free, 48-hour building weekend planned for 12–14 February 2027.
I built Fieldwork too. It ranks AI models for real software engineering by combining public benchmarks with developer opinion, and links every number to its source.
I post what I’m building on X, keep my code on , and I’m on LinkedIn. You can copy my or about the work.

A bit about me
Getting started
One of my first projects was a small Python RPG, Empire Simulator, built with Maurici and Pedro at a summer camp in Menorca in 2023. I took a break from coding in 2024 and returned that Christmas to build a WhatsApp bot that solved a problem for me.
My post about starting againWhat I do now
I study at Agora Sant Cugat International School. My work includes Yumanist AI, design and marketing at Radiance Wallpapers, Travel, and Barcelona Hackathon. Most of my time now goes into Travel and helping organise the hackathon.
On Travel, I work across design, iOS development, and the less visible parts that keep trips and transit information reliable.

Barcelona through a plane window, in characters. The clouds part over Cerdà’s cut-corner blocks. Pull the shade, or go around.
A gate countdown in airport dot matrix. Each second the lit dots walk to the next digit. Delay the flight and the board turns amber.
